                    2009/2010 BOARD/DISTRICT/SUPERINTENDENT GOALS


BOARD GOALS:-
1. Successfully support and complete the transition to new district leadership.
2. Review and prepare for NJQSAC 2010:

a. Increase understanding of measurements
b. Participate in learning opportunities to become more familiar with board members’ role in each category (instruction, personnel, operations, fiscal management, governance)

DISTRICT GOALS:-
1. Provide the district with the appropriate training, tools, technology, and facilities to allow students to reach their maximum potential.
a. Evaluate and enhance new and existing programs and activities that best suit our student population.
2. Administer the district’s financial resources to maximize the educational potential of every student.
3. Enhance outreach efforts to educate the community on the value of Hopatcong’s public schools.

SUPERINTENDENT GOALS:-

1. Become familiar with state and local educational climate, requirements, and personnel.
2. Evaluate and organize curriculum department to best serve our student population.
3. Identify opportunities for district improvement in the areas of instructional delivery, organizational structure, and finances.
4. Enhance outreach efforts to educate the community on the value of Hopatcong’s public schools
