The HHSPTSO’s goal is to support the students of HHS. Some of the funds we have
raised during past events, have been applied toward scholarships awarded to HHS
students who have served their community in some way, a Concussion testing
program (ImPact), books for our library, classroom equipment and a post-prom
breakfast (to name a few).
At this time we would like to invite all Parents, Teachers and Students of HHS
become members. Our meetings are usually held on the 2nd Monday of
the month at 7 pm in the HS Library (accessed through the Technology Center).
If you can spare one hour a month or some time during one of the following
fundraisers, please consider joining us. We welcome all of the help, support
and ideas you can offer. Everyone’s opinion matters.

The 1st Annual Hopatcong High School Parent
Teacher Student Organization (HHSPTSO)
Tricky Tray will be held on November 19, 2010. The proceeds from this
fundraising event will be distributed as follows:
-
50% of the profit will be used by the
HHSPTSO for Scholarships, books, classroom and students needs
-
50% of the profit will be donated to
Project Graduation 2011
Project Graduation
is a program in which students are treated to a supervised, substance-free
graduation celebration on the night of their graduation. National statistics
show that more young people between the ages of 16 and 20 are injured and killed
between the hours of 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. during the graduation season.
Project Graduation is an organized way to keep them occupied and more
importantly SAFE.
There are many ways you can make this night a GREAT SUCCESS for the sake of our
kids:
v
Attend and bring friends with you!
v
Donate a basket or an item for a
basket – ALL donations will be greatly appreciated
v
Volunteer! This year’s Tricky
Tray is being run by the HHSPTSO and the Senior Class parents in order to
benefit Project Graduation 2011. We encourage and welcome the parents of
Underclassmen to come and help so that this fundraiser continues to benefit our
kids for years to come
If you have any questions or would like to volunteer, please call Jacki at
973-770-4997 or email the PTSO @
hhsptso@hopatcongschools.org.
