Welcome to Middle School Guidance
Welcome to the Middle School Guidance Program! We are dedicated to supporting students as they navigate the exciting and sometimes challenging transition from childhood to adolescence.
Middle school is a time of growth, change, and self-discovery. Our goal is to help students develop the skills they need to succeed academically, build strong relationships, and make thoughtful, responsible decisions.
What We Do
The guidance program offers a range of services designed to support the whole child:
- Classroom Lessons on topics such as goal setting, decision-making, and emotional wellness
- Small Group Counseling for students who may benefit from additional support
- Individual Counseling to address personal, social, or academic concerns
- Crisis Intervention & Support when needed
- Academic Planning Assistance including organization and study skills
- Collaboration with Teachers & Families to support student success
Key Focus Areas
We help students build important life and school skills, including:
- Managing stress and emotions
- Navigating peer relationships and social challenges
- Developing independence and responsibility
- Strengthening study habits and organization
- Exploring personal strengths and interests
Supporting the Transition Years
Middle school is a bridge between elementary and high school. We work closely with students to:
- Adjust to increased academic expectations
- Build confidence in new environments
- Prepare for future academic and personal goals
