The Hopatcong Board of Education has two openings for board member positions. Vacancy number one as a term that expires on December 31, 2022. Vacancy number two has a term that expires on December 31, 2024. Individuals interested in applying for either of these positions should submit a letter of interest and résumé to Mr. Jeff Hallenbeck, board secretary, by the close of business on Thursday, May 19, 2022. The board will contact interested candidates to schedule interviews for Monday, May 23rd.

Welcome! New Student Registration

This page will provide the necessary registration information to new families to the district and parents who have children now eligible for school.  To register your child, please complete the following three steps:


1. Online Student Registration - Click Here

Use the link above to access our online form for registering your child.  You will be provided a Registration ID that can be used to come back and continue working on the registration form should you need to leave and come back.


2. Student Physical History Form - Download Here

Download and provide the above form to your child's physician to complete, or ask your physician for their physical history form.  You'll need this for the final step.


3. Bring Documents to School

Bring the completed Physical History Form, Proof of Immunization, two Proofs of Residency, and the child's original Birth Certificate to school to complete the registration process.  If you're transferring from another school, we'll also need a copy of the school's Transfer Card.  And if your child is receiving special services, any documentation (for example, an IEP) is helpful and required.
